Erik Stafl

President/CEO

Erik has been building his reputation as a business leader and technology expert in the electric vehicle industry for the past 12 years. An electrical engineer by training, his innovative BMS design sets the industry standard for safety and performance in electric vehicles. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Bryan Grant

Senior Electrical Engineer

Bryan is a Senior Electrical Engineer working on PCB design and validation. His past work experience includes research at Volkswagen, IECC and Lockheed Martin. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Duke University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.

Eric Rosales

Electrical Engineer

Eric is an Electrical Engineer working on mixed-signal and power schematics and PCB design. His past work experience includes military radars, semiconductor manufacturing systems, telecommunications and consumer product electrical design. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ECPI and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Capitol Technology University. He served six years in the US Navy.

Robert Rudolph

Senior Electrical Engineer

Robert is a Senior Electrical Engineer designing hardware for automotive applications. His past work includes product development for consumer and medical fields, industrial robotics, and electric rail. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.

Peter Wu

Embedded Software Engineer

Peter is an Embedded Software Engineer developing software with a specific focus on vehicular applications. His past work experience includes projects at NASA, Boeing and Raytheon where he performed software validation and application development. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.

Ben Ng

Embedded Software Engineer

Ben is an Embedded Software Engineer specializing in developing software and wiring for electric vehicles. His past work experience includes developing software for automotive and industrial applications at Curtis Instruments. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Purdue University, where he participated in the Formula SAE Electric.

Eric O’Neill

Embedded Software Engineer

Eric is an Embedded Software Engineer specializing in working with electronics to develop low level systems. His past work experience includes S&C Electric Co. and Dolby Laboratories. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley.

Jason Torres

Senior Mechanical Engineer

Jason is a Mechanical Engineer specializing in quick design cycles, rapid prototyping for testing, and structural/thermal analysis. His past work experience includes projects at Hewlett-Packard, NASA, and several hardware startups. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Physics from Rutgers University. He is pursuing a Master of Science in Product Design/Mechanical Engineering from University of California, Berkeley.

Andy McIntosh

Mechanical Engineer

Andy is a Mechanical Engineer specializing in designing mechanical systems for various aerospace and consumer production applications. His past work experience includes working on hybrid vehicle powertrain development at Honda R&D Americas. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University.

Ian Wogan

Mechanical Engineer

Ian is a Mechanical Engineer specializing in product design, lithium battery research and new product development. His past work experience includes Bay Area startups Polyplus Battery Company and Fenix International. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Chico.

Eric Yu

Senior Software Engineer

Eric is a Software and Electrical Engineer specializing in computer applications design and development. His past work experience includes developing applications for Web/Cloud, Desktop and Mobile to Embedded Applications such as Telematics and Infotainment Systems. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of California, Santa Cruz.

John Enriquez

Frontend Developer

John is a Software and Electrical Engineer with experience building web-based solutions for marketing agencies and small businesses. His past work experience ranges from web application development to motion control systems for film. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering with a specialization in Embedded Systems from University of California, Riverside.

Marcos Nolan

UX Designer

Marcos is a UX Designer specializing in the development of a product’s visual style and ergonomics, as well as the functionality of its user interface. Marcos has worked with a variety of companies on projects ranging across the design spectrum, with five years’ automotive body development experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from University of Washington.

Trevor Steele

Project Manager

Trevor is a Project Manager with a communications focus. He supports engineers and designers to deliver products on time to our valued clients. His past work includes PR consulting for a diverse client base. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Lewis and Clark University and a Master’s of Arts in Strategic Public Relations from the University of Southern California.

Lendl Mendes

Project Manager

Lendl Mendes is a Project Manager specializing in delivering engineering and IT projects using PMI, Agile and Scrum methodologies. His past work experience as a specialized consultant crosses a diverse set of industries: Mining, Telecommunications, Banking, Utilities and Agriculture. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Electronics and Controls from the University of Cape Breton, Sydney and a Masters of Business Administration from York University’s Schulich School of Business.

Megan Garland

Project Manager

Megan Malmgren is a Project Manager who specializes in organization and timeline deliverables, and works to ensure all of the team members have the required information and resources to carry out their tasks effectively. Her past work experience includes over four years in the AEC industry in Business Development, working with talented engineers and government agencies. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from California State University of Fresno.

Sean Hallett

Operations Manager

Sean is the Operations Manager. He supports the Engineering Team by optimizing their workflow efficiency and making continuous upgrades to our tooling, systems and facility. His past work experience includes accounting, project management, construction and sales. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management Economics from University of California, Santa Cruz with a minor in Applied Mathematics.

Daniel Yeung

Senior Engineering Technician

Daniel is the Lead Engineering Technician, working closely with the engineers to facilitate production, rapid prototyping, validation testing, machining and CAD design. He previously worked for Eatsa/Brightloom on automation technology. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from San Francisco State University.

Kyle Dupen

Engineering Technician

Kyle is an Engineering Technician and enthusiastic contributor to the Stafl Operations Team. He is an avid EV hobbyist and part-time Professor of Philosophy at San Francisco State University. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Vertebrate Zoology and a Master in Philosophy from San Francisco State University.

Jay Leung

Engineering Technician

Jay is an Engineering Technician specializing in machine functions with an in-depth knowledge of internal working systems. He provides support in the production of multiple products on the Operations Team. His past work experience includes being a freelance graphic designer for major tech companies. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from San Francisco State University.

Dane Bardroff

Senior Engineering Technician

Dane is an Engineering Technician specializing in process automation and CAD design. His past work experience includes establishing local manufacturing for a Zürich based autonomous drone startup and machine design for manufacturing automotive products at Gentex Corp. He holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University where he researched bio-inspired robotics.

Andrea Stafl

HR Manager

Andrea is the Human Resource Manager. She has had the opportunity to support Stafl Systems since its humble beginnings and is dedicated to continuously improving the employee experience and workspace as the company grows. Her past work experience is in the fields of education, health and wellness. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in both Anthropology and Peace and Justice Studies, with a minor in History from Wellesley College.

Sasha Chalak

Accounting Manager

Sasha is the Accounting Manager. He administers the financial aspects of the company, providing financial reporting and analysis. He also serves as the Executive Director of the West Valley Soccer Club. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from San Francisco State University.
