Erik Stafl

President

Erik is an electrical engineer and business leader with experience working on the most advanced electric vehicle systems in the world. Erik specializes in power electronics, embedded systems, and PCB design. He has experience in company leadership, business planning, and a unique ability to communicate clearly between business and technical areas. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Trevor Steele

Director of Communications

Trevor is a public relations and communications professional who helps people better understand the often complex technology in today’s electric vehicle market. He is also an integral part of the team as a project manager, helping engineers and designers deliver products on time to customers around the world. Trevor has a Masters in Strategic Public Relations from the University of Southern California.

Andrew Macrae

Electrical Engineer

Andrew is an electrical engineer and works on PCB layout, testing and validation and embedded software. With previous experience at Tesla Motors, 38 Studios and Intel, Andrew has a deep understanding of validation, custom firmware, C and embedded systems. He has a Bachelor of Science from Harvey Mudd College.

Eric Yu

Electrical/Software Engineer

Eric is a software and electrical engineer who specializes in computer applications design and development. He loves to learn new things and prides himself as a jack-of-all-trades. As an employee at Stafl Systems, he works on multiple fronts from developing Applications for Web/Cloud, Desktop, and Mobile to Embedded Applications such as Telematics and Infotainment Systems.

Marcos Nolan

Multidisciplinary Designer (ID/UX/UI/Visual)

Marcos has worked with a variety of companies on projects ranging across the design spectrum, with five years’ automotive body development experience. He is equally comfortable developing the visual style and ergonomics of a given gadget as he is the look, feel, and functionality of the user interface it runs.

Peter Wu

Embedded Software Engineer

Peter is an embedded software engineer at Stafl Systems. He enjoys developing embedded software with a specific focus on vehicular applications. Peter came to Stafl Systems after having previously worked on projects at NASA, Boeing and Raytheon where he performed software validation and application development. He has a Bachelor of Science from North Carolina State University.

Jeff Bahns

Full Stack Software Engineer

Jeff is a software developer who works primarily on website applications and product development. He is comfortable working in multiple programming languages and environments. As an undergraduate at Sonoma State University, Jeff researched high-performance computing and power consumption.

Ava Mills

Ava Mills

Ava is an engineering technician, helping the team with production and organization. Ava is energetic and has previously worked as an administrative manager of a gym in San Francisco and as a dance instructor.

Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for helping develop the next generation of technology that enables high-voltage battery energy storage, both stationary and in vehicle sectors. The Electrical Engineer will design circuit boards and develop electronic systems based on our collection of reference designs and technology, further developing the technology to meet the changing needs of our customers.

Mechanical Design Engineer

The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for helping to develop new devices and designs that incorporate cutting-edge battery technology. The Mechanical Design Engineer will work closely with our electrical engineering and industrial design team members to find creative and innovative ways to solve difficult problems.
